Our vision at the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching is to inspire teaching excellence, innovation, and inquiry by encouraging faculty members to participate in international conferences addressing the recent issues and trends in teaching, research and innovation. The center funds up to 5 conferences during the period from February 2012 to May 2012. The grants cover travel expenses, accommodation, and conference registration fees.
Eligibility Conditions:
All fulltime faculty members from across disciplines are welcome to apply if:
- they have a letter of acceptance from the conference organizers.
- the conference participation covers any area related to the promotion of excellence in teaching and learning.
- the proposed participation is in a peer-reviewed conference. Examples on research areas may include, but are not limited to, course redesign, e-learning, assessment, critical thinking, active learning, problem-based learning and action research.

Complete applications and an updated CV should be submitted at the center offices in the new campus.
Application deadline:
The deadline for receiving complete applications is: December 15, 2011.
