We are currently accepting proposals for presentations on the 4th CELT symposium on sharing powerful ideas for today’s educators. With the dramatic increase in the application of new methodologies in teaching and learning by faculty members from various disciplines at ANU, methods like Moodle-based courses, project-based learning, community-based learning, problem-based courses, and with the tendency to increase learner involvement in the teaching and learning processes on campus, we feel it is essential to devote this year’s symposium to address the challenges encountered by new methods’ practitioners.
Collecting and sharing evidence on what worked and what did not with the practitioners, what was possible to accomplish and what was beyond reach, will help build a community of innovators and practitioners who are committed to change and who have demonstrated working solutions for problems and challenges. We hope that this symposium will lead to greater adoption of new trends and, in turn, will help improve the quality of the learning experiences and opportunities on campus.
