An Introduction to Project-based learning 

The project based learning methodology has been commonly listed among the new methods which prepare learners with 21^st century skills. The project based courses are designed in such away that the learners are given the opportunities to work in teams and/or with company tutors or community partners to design and implement project plans. They will also receive advice and coaching from teachers and tutors on how to deliver high quality projects. This workshop is the first one in a program of four modules which has been prepared to help teachers design, lead, and assess project-based learning courses. The two-hour workshop will introduce participants to the essential principles for project selection and integration in the course syllabus. Project characteristics, project activities and milestones, and project follow up plans will be presented and discussed using authentic examples collected from different programs around campus.
