Veterinary Clinic II

Course Description:

This course covers skills related to diagnosis and treatment of diseases in different animal species referred to the Veterinary Health Centre or through field services.

 

Project Description

Tulkarm district will be divided into five areas

1- Area (A) City 2- Area (B) Southern villages 3- Area (C) Northern villages 4- Area (D) Eastern villages 5- Area (E) northern villages.  

 

Farm animals in each area will be numbered. The cows in each farm will be counted using data form which contain several information, including the cow ear tag number, age, sex, vaccination program, pregnancy status, previous diseases (during last 2 years), type of work. The most recurrent problems include diseases, bad management, mal nutrition …etc. will be recorded. The most recurrent problem in the farm will registered.  The most recurrent problem in the area will be registered.  The most recurrent problem in district will be discussed with students and specialists to find  the likely causative agents, solutions and method of treatment.
